We produced skip carrying vehicles, from our premises in Stoke-on-Trent. In 2021 it was identified to be necessary to affix CE marking.

Nothing is simple or straight forward with UKCA (CE) marking. The requirements are ‘onerous and extremely complicated.’ Nothing is simply laid out or clearly defined, there seemed to be no simple way of complying with an ever moving target. After much time researching via google, which left us no wiser and even more confused, a college introduced Nick Webb and Associates. Who were willing to guide us through the minefield, identifying common sense solutions and refreshingly this was done ‘free of charge’. They have since provided all templates for the records we need to generate, in order to demonstrate ongoing compliance with EN 1090-1. This allows us to apply CE marking.

As we only produce a relatively small quantity of product each month, going forward NW&A have proven to be a very cost effective solution to legal requirements. They have address all matters concerning the UKAC (CE) Marking. Thereby, leaving us free to concentrate on running the business.
